So I gave into peer pressure....

Blogging has always been such a fear of mine. I've started and deleted so many different food blogs, never finishing them because I read over what I've typed and just die inside from the cringe. Cause it is cringe....whether we like to admit it or not...You start thinking to yourself "oh lord, does that sound too cheesy?" "Ugh....I sound like such a mouth" "Goodness me... I thought English was my first language" It goes on and on.....and as an Irish person, it is built in me not to accept any compliments on what I do....so even if I get praise, there's a 95% chance I won't believe it because us Irish are programmed not to accept compliments in any shape of form.

So this site isn't about getting the masses of followers or likes. I fecking love cooking... anyone who knows me, knows that. I've been pushed to do this by many friends and family members so this is for them. Just sharing my cooking experiences, the good, the bad and the ugly. I'll post up some of my favourite recipes that I like to cook for my family & friends. I'll cook recipes from chef's cookbooks or TV shows which I wanna try and let you know how I got on. I love hiking with the dogs I'll even let you know if I've been a lazy fatty and gone out eating somewhere. See I enjoy cooking so much, however, there are times were when it's just handed to you..scientists can correct me if I'm wrong...but some endorphin has to be realised cause I'm instantly happy after I've only even ordered my food.

So I'll be taking it handy doing these. May aim for a wee blog once a week or two over a strong cup of Lyons tea. I'll be posting recipes more so hopefully than blogging. The cooking is what I do best, not the talking and blabbering on. You'll end up with me going around in circles talking absolute shite if I continue on and on. I won't be here to lecture you on what to eat and not to eat. Food is for enjoyment as well as bodily functions in my opinion. Tis your decision what goes in your gob at the end of the day. Just make sure it tastes nice and it's not going to kill ya. So, that's it.... Welcome to my site, my blog and my recipes. I hope you enjoy and are inspired to make a thing or two. I'm always welcome to recipe suggestions too so feel free to PM me.
